Desire is a Finnsailer 30, a sailboat built in 1980. This model has become well-regarded amongst sailors. With a length of just over 9 metres, she offers a spacious interior and sturdy construction, making her suitable for both coastal cruising and longer voyages. The Finnsailer 30 is known for its practical design and reliable performance, reflecting the company’s philosophy of combining functionality with durability. Although Finnsailer is no longer an active manufacturer, their boats remain sought after on the used market, a testament to their enduring quality and seaworthiness.

Large, cozy cockpit with steering wheel and sofa with cockpit table that can be folded up. In addition, two 360 degree rotatable cockpit chairs with armrests.
Over the years, the boat has been updated with, among other things, a new (2017) engine from Volvo Penta, which is serviced annually and last serviced Oct 2024.
The boat has an aft cabin with access from the cockpit. There are two single berths in the aft cabin.
From the cockpit there is access to an incredibly spacious and very cozy cabin with pantry section and gas stove with oven, sink and cold box with compressor. Salon with sofa group and table, where there is room for 4 adults around the table.
Just before the forepeak there is a separate toilet and sink.
In the forward cabin there is a traditional V-berth with two good berths.
